Generation & Simulation

• galaxy generation - 1,000,000 possible galaxies of ~50,000 stars
• sector generation - generates new sectors on the fly as you explore
• star generation - color, size, intensity, and rarity (common, uncommon, rare, and ?)
• planet generation - several sizes and initial 5 types (hot, habitable, cold, ?, and ?)
• terrain generation - basic terrain generation for each planet type
• generation also includes black holes, nebula, asteroid belts, and gas giants

Gameplay

• scan unknown stars and view details
• travel (warp) between planets/stars
• scan unknown planets and view details
• land on surface of planets
• explore and map surface of planets
